Delia Garza Baca, aka Nancy, 94, passed away December 9, 2016 in Moss Beach, California.



She moved to California after WWII, having resided in the San Francisco Bay Area for most of her life.



Delia was full of life, and the life of the party who lived life on her own terms. She made a lasting impression to all who met her. She will be affectionately remembered as a giving and loving lady who would go out of her way to help those in need. She will be dearly missed by all who...

Delia Garza Baca, aka Nancy, 94, passed away December 9, 2016 in Moss Beach, California.



She moved to California after WWII, having resided in the San Francisco Bay Area for most of her life.



Delia was full of life, and the life of the party who lived life on her own terms. She made a lasting impression to all who met her. She will be affectionately remembered as a giving and loving lady who would go out of her way to help those in need. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her infamous quotes, “I’ll drink to that” and “I’ll cry tomorrow” will forever be engrained in the hearts of her family and friends.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Anselmo and Trinidad Garza, along with her mother who raised her, Maria B. Garza; and nephew, Carlos S. Moisa Jr.



Delia is survived by her sister, Mary E. Moisa; two nieces, Mary Elizabeth “Liza” Quinteros (Javier) and Delia “Melanie” Miranda (Miguel); two great-nieces, Priscilla Trevino (Pedro) and Trina Nicolas; great-nephew, Rolando Leal; two great-great nieces, Deziree DeLeon and Gavriella Trevino.



Memorial Mass will be held at 10am, Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Inurnment of the cremated remains will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
