Jacinto (Jake) L Gonzalez, 84, born in Mission Texas, went to be with the Lord November 25th, 2016. Jake left his home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Son George, daughter/son-in-law Joanna and David, granddaughter and family Rebecca, Paul, Octavian and Lilly. Jake was a Korean War Veteran, a San Antonio Police Department and Corpus Christi Army Depot retiree and owner of South West Construction Company. He loved everything he did, he just could not stop working or thinking about his next new venture. Like his father and many of his brothers and sisters, he had that intraportal spirit. While Jake lived business, his first love was to his entire family. The most important thing he would like the family to know “is to keep in touch with one another”. He never let distance keep him apart, he let his family know they were always welcome. It is his wish for all to remain in touch, not matter how long it’s been.
