Rocky Lee Gomez, or “Rock” as he was known by those who loved him, was called to his eternal home Friday, May 12, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1980 to Virgil and Patsy Gomez.

He graduated from Moody High School in 1999. Rocky worked at the law offices of Huerta Guerra Beam and was a legal assistant just like his dad. He will be remembered as a true Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. He also had so much pride for his Moody Trojans’ baseball team. “All the way to State, Moody!” But nothing compared to the love he had for his family, and the friends he considered family. His sense of humor, larger-than-life personality and contagious laugh will be greatly missed. His family thanks everyone for their love and support during this time.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rudy and Eva Curiel.

Rocky is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; his two children, Preston and Penelope Rose, whom he adored; his parents, Virgil and Patsy Gomez; his three brothers, Eric, Rodney and Robby Gomez; paternal grandparents, Juan and Rosa Pacheco; and many extended family members and friends.
